Methodology


The tables below display the weighting factors that are used to aggregate criteria scores on national and EU level. The methodology for the nZEB tracker including calculations and proposed data sources has been outlined in the project interim report "Aggregation of nZEB monitoring criteria". This report can be downloaded from the project's website zebra2020.eu.

Country Weighting [%]

The country weighting results from the annual new constructed floor area compared to all ZEBRA2020 countries and the data availability for the respective criterion. It can be displayed per Criterion and is expressed in percentage [%].The last table "EU" is different. It summarises the reported new constructed floor area per country [Mm²]. In its last row "Total EU", the total reported new constructed floor area of all EU Member States is summed up.
Non-EU Member States (e.g. Norway) are excluded from the calculation of the EU results in each of the tables.
